He always thought of additional income for the maintenance of his family. One day while walking through the fields, he found a purse of gold dropped by a passer-by. He picked the purse up and found a lot of money in it. He said, “It might be dropped by a passer-by.” He looked for the owner for some time, but found no one. He took the bag to his home and showed it to his wife. His wife said to him, “God has given this money to us and so we should use it to remove our poor condition.” The rickshaw puller said, “No, it does not belong to us. I should look for the owner.” The next day, the rickshaw puller was waiting in that place where he found the purse thinking that the owner might come in search of it. After a long time, he noticed a man looking for something. The rickshaw puller rushed to the man and came to know that the purse belonged to him. He took the man to his home and handed over the bag. The man was very pleased at the honesty of the rickshaw puller. The man was very rich and he gave the rickshaw puller a good job with high salary in his farm. The rickshaw puller and his family became pleased and they were no more in want.
